Living soil role of invertebrate microbial interaction in organic matter transformation in soil by Jan Frouz.
Soil harbor large diversity of organisms various sizes and ecological strategies. Soil microflora play principal role in enzymatic decomposition of organic matter, however microbial activity can by significantly affected by soil fauna which alter conditions in soil environment and thus microbial activity. These invertebrate microbial interactions and its role in soil organic matter transformation are described and discussed.
