A new type of oscillations in electrolyte mixtures was discovered, which is called electromigration oscillations. The oscillations are associated with the electromigration movement of ions when conducting an electric current. The unequivocal criterion for the instability of the electrolyte solution and its ability to oscillate is the existence of complex system eigenmobilities.
