Homosexuality among both men and women is sparsely documented in preserved ancient Egyptian written (e.g. The Book of the Dead, The Contendings of Horus and Seth, Papyrus Carlsberg XIII) and pictorial sources. Anyhow, their study proves clearly a very negative attitude of the ancient Egyptian society towards such a sexual behaviour.
