Urubamba river valley is well known thanks to the famous Inca ruins of the Machu Picchu settled on flat saddle overlooking the surrounding high peaks. This region is being increasingly discussed not only as one of the new “wonders of the World” but also due to hazardous natural events, which occasionally show their destructive force.
